Refund & cancellation

We publish our prices, so it would be odd not to publish what happens when you want to stop. This page covers notice periods, what is refundable and what is not.

No lock-in

There is no long-term contract. Retainers run month to month with 30 days’ written notice, with one exception below. You are not asked to sign anything that traps you.

Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Give 30 days’ notice by email and we will complete the notice period, hand over everything and stop billing. The month already in progress is delivered rather than refunded — the work for it is done as the month runs.

Why SEO has a three-month minimum

Organic ranking cannot move faster than Google recrawls and reassesses a site. Committing to less than three months would be selling you something we know cannot work in the time. After the initial three months, SEO becomes month-to-month like everything else. If we cancel first, or fail to deliver the agreed scope, the commitment does not bind you.

Project work

Website builds (AED 3,500) and video production (AED 2,500) are quoted per project against a written scope. Payment terms and any deposit are set out in that scope before work starts.

  • Cancel before work begins and any amount paid is refunded in full.
  • Cancel mid-project and we invoice for work completed to that point and hand over the files and accounts for it. Nothing is held hostage.
  • Once a project is delivered and approved, the fee is not refundable — but anything that does not match the agreed scope is fixed at no charge.

Advertising spend

Your ad budget is paid to Google or Meta directly, from your own account, and never passes through us. We add no markup. That means we cannot refund it — only the platform can, under its own policy.

Our management fee is the greater of AED 1,000 per month or 10% of spend, and follows the retainer terms above. Campaigns can be paused at any time; you own the account throughout, so pausing never requires our permission.

We do not take on campaigns below AED 5,000 per month in ad spend, because below that there is not enough data to optimise toward a reliable cost per lead.

The free diagnostic

The diagnostic audit is free and yours to keep whether or not you hire us. There is nothing to refund and no obligation attached to it.

If something goes wrong

Tell us before you escalate. If we have not delivered what was agreed, we would rather fix it or refund the affected portion than argue about it. Email info@proxpatmedia.com with what was promised and what happened, and we will respond within two business days.

Making it official

Cancellations must be in writing to info@proxpatmedia.com. The notice period starts the day we acknowledge receipt. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 14 business days.

Where this page and a signed scope of work disagree, the signed scope takes precedence. This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
