Video · TikTok editing
TikTok video editing in Dubai that looks like TikTok.
TikToks edited to feel native to the feed: direct, fast, captioned and cut to the sound, rather than a polished advert squeezed into 9:16. From footage we shoot or footage you already have, for brands in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Quoted per brief.
If it looks like an ad, it gets scrolled like one.

TikTok takes the edges too.
The feed tabs sit across the top, the profile, like, comment, save and share buttons down the right, and the handle, caption and sound along the bottom. Captions placed there are hidden behind the app for every viewer.
Every line of text is placed inside what is left, and every edit is checked on a phone before it is delivered.
Inside the line, or it isn’t seen.
The zones are approximate: TikTok moves its interface between versions and phones. Reference footage, not client work.
01What’s different
A TikTok is not a small advert.
- 01Native, not polished
- The feed is people talking to camera. A brand video that looks like a TV spot announces itself as an ad in the first frame, and gets treated as one.
- 02Cut to the sound
- On TikTok the audio is part of the format: the voice, the beat, the sound people recognise. The edit follows it, so cuts land where the sound says they should.
- 03The first seconds
- The reason to stay goes first — the result, the question, the surprising part — and the explanation follows. No logo at the start.
- 04Text that reads fast
- Short lines, timed to the speech, in the style the feed uses, and kept clear of the buttons and the caption.
- 05Built to loop
- An ending that runs back into the opening gets watched twice without anyone deciding to. Where the content allows it, the edit is shaped that way.
- 06Series, not one-offs
- A question from the comments answered in a follow-up, a part two, a recurring format: one shoot edited into a run of videos that give people a reason to follow.
02Sound and rights
Muted after posting is the worst edit.
Business accounts play by different music rules.
TikTok limits business accounts to its Commercial Music Library, which is cleared for brand use. Plenty of sounds that trend on personal accounts are not in it, and a video built on one of them can lose its audio after it goes up. We edit with sounds the account is allowed to use, or with original audio — a voice, a product, a place — which is often more distinctive anyway.
The same care goes to people. In the UAE, anyone identifiable should have agreed to appear; when we shoot, consent is part of the plan, and when we edit your footage, we flag anyone who might not have.
Muted after posting is the worst edit.
03How it runs
Footage in, a run of TikToks out.
- 01Brief and angles
- What the account is for, who it is talking to, and several angles for the opening line before anything is cut.
- 02Selects
- The footage marked up — keep, cut, reframe — so the best takes are chosen deliberately rather than found halfway through the edit.
- 03Edit
- Cut to the sound, captioned, and checked on a phone against the brief before you see it.
- 04Your notes
- Changes go back into the same cut, so what you approve is what you reviewed.
- 05Delivery
- Clean full HD vertical files, named for where each one runs, with no watermark, so the same video can go to Reels as well.
04TikTok and Reels
One shoot, both apps, two edits.
The footage that makes a good TikTok usually makes a good Reel, and planning for both is the cheapest way to post on both. What changes is the edit: the openings, the text style and the sound choices each app rewards. We export a clean version for each rather than reposting one with the other’s watermark. The Instagram side is on Reel editing, and the shoot that feeds both is video shooting.
05Boosting
The TikTok that works is the ad to test.
TikTok lets a business boost a post that already exists, which makes organic performance the best brief an ad can have: the video that holds attention on its own goes first. When a TikTok is likely to be boosted, we cut alternative openings so the test has something to compare. Campaigns run under paid social, from an ad account in your name.
06Price
Quoted per brief.
TikTok editing has no single published rate, because the work varies too much: how many videos, how much footage, whether it has to be shot, and how many versions you want to test. Send a brief and you get a fixed quote before anything starts. Full video production is priced on the video production page.
07Out of scope
What we turn down.
Not offered:
Ads dressed up as TikToksA logo in every frame and a script read off a card does not become native by being vertical. If it has to be an ad, we cut it as a good ad.
Not offered:
Bought views and followersThey make the numbers look better and the account perform worse, and they tell you nothing about what works.
Not offered:
Views reported as resultsA view is an input. What counts is what the viewer did next.
08Questions
The things people actually ask.
How much does TikTok video editing cost in Dubai?
We quote per brief. A TikTok cut from one clean take and a series built from a day of footage are different jobs, so a single published rate would be wrong for most of them. What moves the number: how many videos, how much footage, whether we shoot, and whether you want openings to test. You get a fixed quote before anything starts.
Can a business account use trending sounds on TikTok?
Not all of them. TikTok limits business accounts to its Commercial Music Library, which is cleared for brand use, and many sounds that trend on personal accounts are not in it. We edit with sounds the account can actually use, or with original audio, so nothing gets muted after posting.
Do you also shoot TikToks?
Yes, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A shoot planned for TikTok is lighter and faster than a brand film: more takes, more angles, more people talking to camera, framed vertical from the start.
Can you edit footage from our staff or a creator?
Yes. Phone footage from people who know the product often makes better TikToks than a polished shoot. We go through it first and tell you plainly what it can and cannot make.
Can the same video go on TikTok and Instagram Reels?
The footage can, and usually should. The edit often should not be identical: the openings, the text style and the sound choices differ, and a TikTok watermark on a Reel looks like an afterthought. We export clean files for each platform. See Reel editing for the Instagram side.
Do you run TikTok ads as well?
Campaigns run under paid social, from an ad account in your name. A TikTok that performs organically can be boosted as it is, which is often the best first test for a new ad.
